Placed in the middle of a vineyard, the house consists of two simple volumes running parallel to the existing rows of vines. The shaded courtyard between them is the centre of everyday life; the kitchen, dining and living areas all open onto it.
The exposed concrete surfaces carry the imprint of timber formwork, while stones excavated on site were reused in the garden walls. Thick walls and small, deep windows offer natural protection from the summer heat; large openings appear only where the house faces the vineyard and the sunset.
