About TOKER
Toker Mimarlık is an architecture office working in architectural design, interior architecture and urban design. Since its foundation, it has taken on every stage of the process — from the first sketch to the last construction detail — across a wide range of residential, office, tourism, cultural and restoration projects.
At the centre of the office’s work is its relationship with place. Each project is developed by reading together the topography and climate of the site, the surrounding built fabric and the everyday lives of its users. This reading guides every design decision, from the form of the building to the choice of materials.
Toker Mimarlık brings the same rigour to its close collaboration with engineering and consultancy firms on large-scale projects as it does to craft and detail on smaller ones. Every design is drawn, resolved and followed on site down to its smallest detail.
The office also sees contributing to architectural culture as part of its work, taking part in professional debate through exhibitions, publications, talks and collaborations with universities.
