Beşiktaş Mixed-Use

This mixed-use complex of homes, offices and shops was designed to create breathing space in the middle of a dense urban fabric. The volumes are set back from the plot boundaries to form a green, continuous pedestrian axis that connects the neighbourhood to the waterfront.

Cafés, shops and small squares lined along the axis turn the project into a public space that serves not only its users but the whole district. The curving façades of the towers create a silhouette that changes as it is seen from different angles.
